Diptyque Florabellio fragrance. I wanted to try Diptyque products for a long time. The packaging is very refined. Here is the description : « A fragrance created as an olfactory landscape: in the foreground, invigorating and salty sea spray mingles with the vegetal bitterness of sea fennel. It then develops around soft and sensual apple blossom, and in the background, like an optical illusion, swirl wafts of roasted coffee with toasted sesame accents. » So pleasant! I love the little details on the sticker.

Lush bathbombs are amazing! Left: rose bombshell. The smell is incredible and rose petals are hidden in the bathbomb. Right : Sakura, inspired by Japanese gardens. I try not to take baths very often because of the water it needs, but with these little things it’s a real pleasure and a big relaxing moment. Perfect after an exhausting day! I feel like a princess everytime I’m in my bathtub with pink water. It also moisturizes the skin and leaves it soflty perfumed.

N°5 and Coco fragrances by Chanel. « A women who doesn’t wear perfume has no futur » as Gabrielle Chanel said, and I think she was right, the perfume is a part of the identity. Personnally, I prefer Coco, a bit lighter and easier to wear on hot summer days. I always associated N°5 with the image of a strong, feminine women with red lipstick and high heels. – Chanel nailpolish « Dragon »: I love the packaging of Chanel nailpolishes but in my opinion, they don’t last a long time. – Chanel lipstick « Gabrielle »: probably my favorite shade.

Yves Rocher nailpolish « Magnolia »: the shade is amazing, nude and it lasts many days. Cheap and good quality! – Essie nailpolish « allure »: a light cream shade which is gorgeous. « Frenzy » by Chanel: an other nude colour, a really light grey which I like too, but if you don’t like transparent nail polishes you have to apply several layers. – « Dune » by Dior: I usually wear it in autumn or winter. – On the left: H&M necklace, on the right: Ti Sento bracelet I got for my 15th birthday, it’s an italian brand which makes really nice jewellry.

Micellar lotion by Nuxe, made from rose petals. It leaves a nice, fresh smell on your skin and makes it soft. This little bottle was a gift I got with other products by Nuxe. – Clarins concealer: this product is just AMAZING: it covers your eyes dark circles and your skin look healthy and glowy. – Caudalie « eau fraîche rose de vigne »: so fresh, light and it smells really good! Moreover, not really expensive compared to other brands. – L’occitane « rose » handcream, their handcream smell so good.

« Saint-germain » by MAC: I have this lipstick for a while, and I admit that this colour is really hard to wear, and sometimes I wonder why I bought it… Pretty sure I’m not the only one to make senseless purchases haha. – « Pâtisserie » by Mac: I loooove this lipstick: on this picture it looks a bit dark by it’s lighter in real, the shade is just amazing on the lips, very neutral. « Crème d’nude » by MAC: an other nude lipstick, a bit too light for me I think. The disadvantage with this kind of lipstick: it’s horrible on dried lips, they have to be perfectly hydrated. MAC lipsticks smell so so good, very agreeable. – Chanel vintage long necklace.

Lilac

Hot sunny days are already here in France. Yesterday I went for a walk in a beautiful park in countryside near Strasbourg, which is, in this season, magical. There are blossoms everywhere, the light on the trees had beautiful pinky-orange shades. And, what I prefer : big lilac flowerbeds, with an intense perfume guiding you through the park. The birds were singing very loud, even a cuckoo.  It reminded me of my childhood, I used to spend hours in the garden smelling the flowers and making bunches of flowers. Then, as you can guess, I had to make bunches of flowers. I am currently writing and the lilac fills the living-room with its fragrance.

My brother spent a few days in Paris and visited amazing museums, he brought me this nice notebook with details of Renoir’s paintings from Orsay museum. I really appreciate impressionism and love this painting « Danse à la ville ».

Miss Dior

DSC04824.JPG_effected

Miss Dior: a classic, eternal fragrance. Most of the women already heard once in their lives about it. Yesterday, my mother offered me this beautiful gift and told me that at the same age as mine, it was also her perfume. I really liked the idea of taking the same path as her, she has always been a model for me. Moreover, this perfume is perfect: sweet, feminine, it lasts for hours on your skin. It’s like a breath of fresh air which makes you happy. This box (in limited edition) contains the fragrance and the body milk.

Dior’s universe has always fascinated me, as a lot of women I guess. A feminine, classy, delicate world, with flowers, soft colors and beautiful patterns. The first time I saw the advertisement made by Sofia Coppola, I thought it was just breathtaking. A soft light, soft colours and a lot of feminine details, as always. Of course, with the absolutely gorgeous Raf Simon’s dresses inspired by the « Miss Dior » dress. I shall not forget the beautiful Nathalie Portman, she’s such an inspiration. To conclude: Dior makes me dream!
